This page explains, in plain words, what data we ask you for, who stores it and what you can do to have us stop keeping it.

We collect nothing just because you come in to look at properties. Data only reaches us when you fill in one of the forms on the site:
We do not ask for bank details, passport or ID numbers in any form on this site. If they are ever needed for a transaction, they are requested through another channel and with documents involved.
To reply to you, show you properties that match what you told us, and guide you if you decide to buy. Nothing else. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we will not put you on a mailing list because you asked about a villa.
When you send a form, what you typed goes to two places at once, and both are outside the Dominican Republic:
They go to both on purpose: if one fails, your message is not lost. Beyond that, your data is seen only by the Pro Properties team. If at any point something of yours needs to go to a lawyer, a bank or a property owner, we tell you first.
Several buttons on the site open WhatsApp with a message already written. That conversation goes through WhatsApp, under its own terms, and we see your number just as in any chat. You can delete or change the pre-written message before sending it, and if you do not send it, nothing reaches us.
This site uses no advertising cookies and does not follow you around other websites. What does happen is this, and you should know:
For as long as the conversation is alive or a transaction is under way. If you tell us to delete it, we delete it, except for anything we must keep due to a legal or accounting obligation from a sale that already took place.
Write to us at carlos@propropertiesdr.com and you can ask to: see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it or have us stop writing to you. You do not need to explain why. In the Dominican Republic this is covered by Law 172-13 on personal data protection.
This site is for property buyers and is not aimed at minors. We neither ask for nor want data from minors.
Everything on this site is either ours or used with permission: the texts, the description of each property, the photographs, the floor plans, the calculations and the design of the pages. In the Dominican Republic that is protected by Law 65-00 on Copyright, as amended by laws 424-06, 493-06 and 2-07.
That law protects a work from the moment it is created, with no need to register it or display any symbol: its article 3 states that copyright arises with the creation of the work, and article 154 that not registering it takes nothing away. Which means these texts and photographs are protected even if this page did not say so.
Look around, print a listing, save it and send it to your partner, your lawyer or whoever is helping you decide. That is what it is for. You may also quote us or link to us, saying where it came from.
Copy our descriptions, our photographs or our design and publish them on another website, portal or advert, whether or not our name goes with them. Nor use our trade name or our logo to suggest that you work with us. If you want to use something, write to us: we almost always say yes, and that way it is clear where it came from.
Some are ours and others belong to the developers and owners who authorise us to sell their properties. We use them with their permission and for that purpose: to sell them. Their being here gives you no right to use them, and gives us no right to pass them on to you.
Pro Properties DR, its logo and its motto Building Dreams & Memories identify this company and no other. Trade names and trademarks in this country are governed by Law 20-00 on Industrial Property, administered by ONAPI.
Prices, bank rates, taxes and whatever the calculator works out are the best information we have on the day we publish it, and they come from documents, not from guesswork. Even so, a price is changed by the owner, a rate by the bank and a tax by the law. Before you sign anything, those figures are confirmed in writing with the bank, with the lawyer and with us. Nothing here is a binding offer or legal or financial advice.

This site and this company are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, which is where the office is, where the properties are and where the purchases are signed.
When we change anything on this page, we change the date at the top as well. There is no fine print anywhere else: what this page says is what we do.
